Recovery Is
Personal.
BPC-157 is a synthetic peptide that has attracted interest because of preclinical research involving tissue and gastrointestinal processes. Learn what the research actually says before deciding whether it belongs in your wellness conversation.
A peptide surrounded by research.
BPC-157 is a synthetic peptide that has been studied primarily in preclinical research. Interest in BPC-157 has grown because researchers have investigated its relationship with tissue-related and gastrointestinal processes.
Much of the attention surrounding BPC-157 comes from animal and laboratory research. Human clinical evidence is considerably more limited.
That distinction matters. Research findings can help scientists understand a compound's potential mechanisms, but they do not automatically establish that a peptide is safe or effective for a particular use in humans.
What Are You
Trying To Improve?
Choose the statement that sounds most like you. We'll use it as a starting point for your conversation with the provider.
Recovery
Recovery is influenced by sleep, nutrition, activity, stress and many other factors. Your provider can discuss your individual goals and determine whether any treatment is appropriate.
Activity & Training
If you're physically active, your provider can discuss your training schedule, recovery routine and overall health before considering any peptide therapy.
Gut Wellness
Gastrointestinal health can involve many different conditions and causes. Bring your concerns to your provider rather than assuming one peptide is the answer.
Peptide Education
You don't need to know which peptide you need. A consultation can help you understand what is known, what remains uncertain and what options may be appropriate.
Interesting science.
Limited human data.
BPC-157 has been investigated in preclinical research involving tissue repair, inflammation and gastrointestinal processes. FDA materials note that studies identified in the literature include research involving conditions such as knee pain, interstitial cystitis and ulcerative colitis.
However, FDA currently states that it has identified no or only limited safety-related information for proposed routes of administration and therefore lacks sufficient information to know whether BPC-157 would cause harm when administered to humans.
What Researchers Are Studying
Preclinical research has explored BPC-157 in relation to tissue-related and gastrointestinal processes.
What We Don't Know
The amount of high-quality human clinical evidence needed to establish safety and effectiveness for specific wellness uses remains limited.
